UrClimate Tailor

UrClimate Tailor

Weather & climate risk intelligence for energy assets

UrClimate Tailor is an enterprise weather and climate risk platform built for organisations that operate in the field — wind, solar and hydro power plants first and foremost. It brings together site-specific high-resolution forecasts, real-time lightning tracking, workability analysis, seasonal outlooks and climate-risk financialisation, all in one interface.

Climate scenarios and financial exposure

Tailor’s founding principle is data honesty: every indicator carries its source and confidence level; when data is missing, we say “no data” — we never fabricate a value.

Modules

Fleet Cockpit

Your entire portfolio on one map: today’s risk status, lightning over the last 24 hours, a workability summary and a fleet-wide risk ranking.

Site Forecasts

Km-scale, hourly forecasts per site: wind at multiple heights including hub height, gusts, temperature, air density, radiation, snow and icing — with a confidence band.

Live Weather Maps

Interactive country-wide maps: animated wind flow, temperature and precipitation layers, with a timeline scrubber.

Lightning: Tracking + Forecast

Real-time detection, automatic proximity alerts, intensity (kA) analysis, archive with playback, and site-based risk levels for the hours ahead.

Workability

Operational window analysis for maintenance, crane operations and field work: which hours are safe, which are risky — per task type, days in advance.

Risk Monitoring & Early Warning

Threshold-exceedance early warning: where and when do critical wind, precipitation and other hazards occur? A dedicated mode for distribution regions.

Seasonal Outlook

Forecasts looking months ahead: point-based site outlooks and country-wide anomaly maps.

Climate Risks (Financialisation)

5 hazards, scenarios, AAL/NPV and a print-ready report — methodology aligned with NGFS · UNEP FI · IIGCC PCRAM 2.0 · IFRS S2/TSRS.

Facade Wind Loads

Sketch your building geometry and instantly see the Eurocode (EN 1991-1-4) based facade wind-load and zone distribution in 2D/3D.

Flood 3D

Three-dimensional flood simulation visualisation for selected regions: examine how water interacts with the terrain.

Platform features

  • Two languages: Turkish and English — one-click switching, complete across all modules.
  • Enterprise access management: per-user authorisation by site, module and region.
  • Notifications: daily forecast digests and event-based alerts (e.g. lightning proximity) by e-mail.
  • Enterprise architecture: isolated per-customer deployment; data-protection-compliant processing.
  • User experience: dark mode, print-ready reports, mobile-friendly interface.

Why Tailor?

1
Site-specific

Not a generic district forecast — tailored to your coordinates, asset type and turbine height.

2
End-to-end horizon

From the next hours to days, months and decades — one platform.

3
Honest data

Source and confidence transparency; missing data is never presented as a value.

4
Standards-aligned

Climate-risk outputs speak the language of international reporting frameworks.

5
Operational language

Turns data into decisions: “workable / not workable”, “safe / at risk”.

Frequently asked questions

What is physical climate risk for a bank or investor?
It is the financial impact of climate hazards on the assets behind a loan or investment. Acute hazards (flood, storm, wildfire) cause damage in a single event; chronic hazards (heat, drought, sea level rise) erode value over time. The risk becomes material when it changes collateral value, borrower cash flow or default probability.
How does a hazard become a credit metric?
UrClimate Tailor combines the projected hazard at the asset location (normalized 0–1), the exposure of the asset, and the vulnerability of the borrower’s sector (NACE) — then translates the result into PD, LGD and DSCR shifts, which feed IFRS 9 ECL, collateral valuation and capital calculations.
Which scenarios and time horizons are covered?
Climate scenarios projected from 2015 to 2100, with hazard indices drawn from peer-reviewed literature and aligned with IPCC AR6; the financialisation methodology is aligned with NGFS, UNEP FI, IIGCC PCRAM 2.0 and IFRS S2/TSRS reporting requirements.
Can it run inside the bank’s own environment?
Yes — UrClimate Tailor is available as an on-premise deployment, so portfolio data does not have to leave the institution.
